Mah... al primo ascolto, tranne un paio di episodi, mi pare un cd davvero brutto. Non si disconta molto dal precedente, che in quanto a bruttezza non scherzava. Forse bisognerebbe interrogarsi su cosa aspettarsi dai cure dopo 30 anni di carriera. Forse non ha più senso essere dark nel 2008 e anche loro si sono adeguati, tirando fuori la vena rock che non ti aspetteresti (e forse non vorresti).
Comunque, l'ultimo CD che ricordo con piacere "da cure" era "BLOODFLOWERS".... senza voler rivangare il passato.

pur condividendo il fatto che il meglio dei cure sia gia' passato, diciamo nella prima meta' degli anni 80 + disintegration, non concordo col fatto che gli ultimi cd facciano schifo. premetto che l'ultimo lo devo sentire, ho solo visto un live...

Infatti c'è un rovescio della medaglia e rappresenta un nuovo "spirito live" ri-trovato dalla band di Robert Smith... beh noi li abbiamo visti dal vivo ed è stato un evento eccezionale, anni fa.
ho ascoltato il disco finalmente, a proposito su myspace lo potete ascoltare in versione integrale.
il giudizio generale non e' buono, non credo come dici tu che il cd sia proprio brutto, ho sentito ben di peggio. certo che non e' paragonabile ai loro migliori lavori. piu' che al rock, come gia' hanno fatto nel passato il cd ha tante canzoni pop, ed in 4-5 episodi mi hanno convinto. il punto 3' che 4-5 su 13 non e' un buon bilancio...
comunque se il dark non va piu' bene, ed il rock nemmeno, tu cosa ti saresti aspettato dal cd? canzoni alla guccini?:)

Anche io ho fatto un ri-ascolto tutto di un fiato, e come dici tu sono arrivato a 'salvare' proprio 5 forse 6 pezzi. Peccato perchè i primi due non deludono...
